During the October half-term, aratrust organised three virtual visits to the Science Museum in London for children aged 3 – 10 and their parents.

We focused on the Science Museum’s Engineering, Space, and Medical Science & Technology exhibitions including fascinating scientific instruments invented over the ages going back to Ancient Egypt.

Children consolidated and extended their educational experience on the virtual visit by researching different inventions and inspiring scientists in their own time. Aratrust is delighted to showcase some of the children’s home learning in this Gallery. The children’s ages are in brackets.

The parents and children who attended gave us some very positive and encouraging feedback and asked aratrust to organise more of these activities and arrange some similar activities for pre-school children.
